Looking for some advice on car audio, so I have a Pioneer BT, etc single din deck that's 2 years old. It's an extended cab, stock speakers still and they work.
Am I gonna want to do speakers with an amp next? Or one of those all in one box sub deals under the seat next? I don't know audio well

Good price for quality driveline work, especially if he's going to check balance

Do speakers with a amp first that may be enough depending how much boom you want. I did a sub first and had to much bass so changed the speakers and now I'm happy with it

I think I might have gotten a deal since I threw out where I work (we have 25 trucks) and my mechanics name

Id buy the rammat audio kit and deaden down the cab. That will make what you have now sound WAY better and the truck more enjoyable to drive before getting new speakers and amps.

That's definitely the first part of this audio 'project'. Road/wind noise is brutal in this taco. The 100 series Cruiser is a dream to drive after dailying the taco

I'm thinking most important parts for the deadening are the doors, back of cab below rear window, and the roof. Sounds right?

I feel you there, it's the difference between a door that thuds closed firmly and door that makes a hollow rattle while you drive and when you close it you wince because it sounds like something is broken.

It's a shame we didn't get the Land Cruiser pickups here in the States. Could you imagine Land Cruiser quality design and engineering going into a pickup??! I would love to own one someday. Maybe the 79 series, eh?

I'd love a 70 series, utility and quality, plus coil sprung solid axle front. That's all I need.
