Is there a skid plate that's made that starts at the end of mine where the control arms begin? Yes I know I have a dirty truck but clean belts lol

So it's only grinding in park? Nothing else?

I don't think so. You have a custom bumper with skid it looks like

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

It's only grinding when going back in to park. When you start to put it in park, it sounds almost like grinding gears in a manual.

I was going through gears to fill the trans, but when I would go from reverse to park, it would give me the grinding noise. If I backed the selector back to reverse, the sound would go away.

I feel like this photo should be put in a bit of context...
The situation started out like this, perhaps predictably:

Hm usually when grinding is happening it's a tcase gear not lined up. You sure your linkage was connected good?

Re reading your original post makes me ask do you have each stick in a gear and not the middle spot? So one stick in either 2wd or 4wd (should only be 2 shift spots so wouldnt be this shifter) and the other stick all the way foward or all the way back shifting it from high to low? Should never be in the middle "neutral" spot. Nothing is engaged and in gear will spin and cause the gears to grind in the transfer case.

As soon as I realized that it was pulled and replaced with the blank panel. Now the space holds my CB mic.

Won't be bothering me, or maybe it will, cuz the steering wheel will be replaced with one w/ audio+bluetooth controls.

    That is what mine are.

Am I the only one who doesn't have that issue? I can see mine perfectly fine. Now of course it doesn't seem to be accurate no matter what but I can still see it.
