Well, I figured I'd rent a car dolly and tow my wife's $35k Prius Prime behind my questionable Tacoma from Bluffton, SC to Nashville. It actually did better than I thought, I averaged around 60-65 MPH and about 13.5 MPG, while pushing 34" tires. I was really impressed crossing Mont Eagle Mountain (big hill?) on I 24 near Chattanooga. I just shoved it in 3rd and it held 55MPH going up at about 3500 RPM.IMG_9211.jpg

I was really impressed, honestly wasn't sure if she'd make it...lol. That was definitely the hardest I've ever worked her.

Where's the thread for this? I tried searching but ended up with so many terrible 3rd gen posts/threads.

DANG IT. I'd love to get 20% off to offset the money I'll lose selling my Husky liners. (WeatherTech didn't make 1st gen double cab mats when I bought them 5 years ago).

Thats what I would say to :D. I do despise how costly a bag that size can be.

Yes I play with them all day, I was ruffling your feathers. This was a smaller project I did, I was a grease ball for sure.
First bridge ever built in the world with that attachment design in the world. Cant remember the bolt count though, hope my bolts hold!

I'm pretty sure the one he has isn't available anymore, was something that was made by a member on customtacos.com several years ago if I remember right

If you are only looking to drop the CB a little bit, Wheelers Offroad sells a small spacer that drops the CB maybe a half inch...they market it for 2nd gens but it fit my 04 just fine. It's just a couple of metal spacers with longer bolts.

I'm looking for new ones. Where did you get those?

ALSO, on the subject of lighting- up front, the lower bumper turn signals and the side marker lights- is there a way to get them to work this way:

all 4 on as running lights.
all 4 work as turn signals (obviously I'd only need the ones on a given side to signal for a given direction, not all 4). Bonus points if they alternate.

Failing that, I will figure out how to get all 4 to work as running lights, and will add fender turns along the lines of European vehicles.

    Got these:

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0040JXZDG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

With these bulbs (they don't tell you you need reverse bulbs)

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07G262QSX/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

And I swapped for LED turn bulbs to make it all match:

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07C6FXBN4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

    The 95.5-00 versions are cheaper:

If you have dual filament bulbs it should be pretty easy to get them to blink together.

Similar to one of the varients for making your corner lights turn signals. Find the appropriate socket for dual filaments and adapt it to the light houseing. Tap one circuit into your current running light and the other into your blinker.

I don’t know if you have the v6 or I4, but I towed my Honda Civic about a hundred miles, and over a mountain pass no issue with my I4 Auto.

Pictured is our E320, because I don’t have a good picture of the Civic.

Anyone have any other ideas to why my gas guage gets stuck between a half and quarter?

The sending unit is right at 110 ohms when it's down all the way and 3 ohms when up all the way.

There is a possibility that it's getting stuck on a baffle in the tank.

Curious if anyone has any other ideas?

Mine has dead spots and drops for moments here and there, but if you have dents in your tank it is likely getting stuck on the surge box around the pump
