Fortunately I did not. My headache was brought on by navigating in and around the intake manifold to access the blasted thing.
    Chears to completed taco projects:cheers:

I’m curious is being on the coast with the salty air causes minor surface rust. My truck came out of Montgomery and Houston area and while it’s not bad by any means the paint didn’t hold up real great. Surface rust showing through all over. My last 02 had a near perfect frame being in GA it’s whole life.

My cork gasket is holding up like a champ, although it’s for my transmission pan not oil pan. But I did put some silicon gasket between the pan and gasket before I bolted it back up to the transmission.

I am about to do new axle seals and bearings next weekend as well. What is the stud delete portion you are talking about?

Also, seals and bearings are one of those things if you find you need to do one, might as well go ahead and do them both.

I installed the Champion aluminium radiator in my truck yesterday. Did some wiring on the alarm system, and helped my son break lose all the control arm hardware on his vehicle. Then at about an hour before dark, found the wife's ZJ had a worn water pump. Never leaked a drop but the bearing was pooched. Wrapped that up about 9pm.

I had the same problem about 15 years ago when I ordered a bumper for my S10 from "Kennesaw Mountain Offroad" (aka Tactical Armor Group, aka Blue Lake Offroad, and may have changed their name since, last I? found was 2012). They expected me to ship it back, both ways, for them to fix their screwup... AFTER taking 6 months to get it to me.

What did I do? Bought a welder and started learning.

Oooh yeah @Yetimetchkangmi don’t mount your resi’s there, it looks like a nice protected spot but they’ll get nailed by your UCAs. I had to move mine out in front of the control arms.

That looks great! Are you doing any tube around the sides for bedside protection?
