yep, I learned that one really quick. always check eBay. If you need it quick, Amazon - but eBay might be cheaper. Then of course you also have to take into account the return potential if not satisfied, Amazon no worries - eBay, return shipping, potential restock fee...

yeah I got these with Prime on Sunday night and they came this morning less than 2 days later, so that was cool. They look identical to the x-bulls so I'm hoping they're the same thing just branded differently like a lot of overseas companies are known to do, we'll see

 

Cant find the $50 ones anymore but heres one for $66. They arent x-bull but pretty sure they all from the same factory. lol

Wow I didn't even see those when I was looking on Sunday, they look the same too. Decent reviews as well for a <100 recovery board. Some of the other $100 options had really bad reviews.

 

Pretty much its a waiting game for all of them. Keep track and buy when the trend goes low...

Hey... Anybody on this thread got some OE leaf springs in fair shape they'd like to sell me? I figure with so many people upgrading stuff to make their rock crawlers... there's got to be some people with gently used OE leafs just sitting in their garage. Looking for some with under say 150K miles and as little rust as possible.

 

Do they sell parts?

Do you have a regular cab, Xtracab or double cab? I think the reg cab is different than xtra/double cab leaf springs.

 

tacomas dont live long in pick and pulls here. But I just seen that tundra and sequoias have the same spindles. Might be able to find those easier.

 

I think there’s only a difference in years (95-97 and 98-04), as far as I know.

As far as I've seen... yes there's more differences than just the year of the Taco. Its the body/bed length that determines which leaf springs. Doublecab is what I need. More specifically I've got a 2003, V6, 4x4, 5ft bed.

95-97 springs are 3" shorter than 98-04. 98-04 may have some tiny spring rate differences between them but for all intents and purposes they will work the same if interchanged, just make sure you put the driver's side and passenger's sides on right or you'll lean

 

Okay so just snuck by the shop during work and found my power steering leak. Its leaking from the shaft that the pulley connects to is this a easy fix or do I need to replace the pump?
