I'll look into them. Whatever I do next I'm going to get them custom made, no more buying off the shelf and expecting them to meet my needs

Are your uniballs in good shape? They can make a lot of noise.

They didn’t have any movement when I wiggled the tire at 12 and 6. Any other way to check?

Do you lube them? I think uniballs are supposed to be lubed regularly with Teflon spray or something like that right?

Ouch lol. Although between the Dakars and these Expos I've spent about that much. Should've just gone that route in the first place.
But once cry once indeed...or buy three times and cry more each time in my case.

    Ahh...misery loves company haha.

I did recoup some $$ selling the Dakars but with this issue with the Expos I don't think I could sell them in good conscious. Maybe for a small amount if someone wanted to try and figure out the issue.

I'm going to try one more time to figure it out, going to take the main eye bolt out and pop out the bushings to inspect them. Only thing I haven't tried yet, they're brand new < 15k miles on them so I haven't really suspected them until now.

Hard to tell without pulling the through bolt and feeling how smooth it is.

When I replaced mine they had only a tiny bit of play, mostly vertical, but some of the liner was falling apart and they made an awful creaking sound.

2.5 wheeling seasons. Maybe 25k. :notsure:

I judge my maintenance more based on wheeling seasons and not miles as I don't DD my truck so it's only driven on trips. Especially something like uniballs that will have a much shorter life when subjected to mud and dust than if they only ever see pavement.

I probably should replace mine. I’ll order them up. I wish that icon on the truck kit wasn’t so expensive, it looks convenient.

Tundra brakes made a huge difference in brake petal vibrations and stopping power for the taco.
