Getting a significant vibration in the rear when I apply the brake. Harder I brake, the worse it is. Any ideas? There's a new drum from Napa on the passenger side, dunno if that makes a difference. Should I just have someone who knows what they're doing adjust the brakes?:anonymous:

Check that drum again if it just started after you installed it. I had a vibration when breaking too but I got my tires rebalenced and it fixed it. Hope you get it figured out, sorry I'm not much help

Are you sure it's coming from the rear? Are you getting vibration in the steering wheel? If you are it could be warped front rotors.

If it is in fact just in the rear, it sounds like it is related to the new brake drum. I would take it to a Midas or other brake shop and have them take a look at the drums. Did you replace the brake shoes when you did the drum? Its very possible to get vibration if you are using old brake shoes with new drums. Similar to using old brake pads on new rotors.

If you get the drums checked out, it's probably a good idea to replace the shoes and get them adjusted properly. Also, maybe take a look at your driveshaft. Unlikely, but maybe you have a good dent in it from your recent wheeling? That could cause some too if it's out of balance.

Went and snapped a couple pics for ya, after having weathertech's in my 2nd GEN these fit nowhere near as good but I just put them in also so they might loosen up a little.

Yeah, good to see it back on the road Monte!

It must feel like having a new truck in some ways, yet still feel like your old one, lol.

    Thanks man.

After having weather techs in my Legacy, I just don't know if I can spend the cash on them again.

Not such a great fit and such a major PITA to keep somewhat clean.

We had huskie liners in our ford f250 for 339,710 miles and they held up like a tank, were easy to clean, and fit well. I would get them over weathertechs any day

Haha ya no kidding. Especially after the RTT goes on

    Haha not quite! Close tho

I know, I love em

Dude yes!! So weird. Like I don't remember it being so damn tall!! I feel like its huge haha the tranny throws are so much shorter too then the truck I have been driving. And the power! Yet still very familiar. The rear leafs now ride like smooth butter. Front feels stiff now tho

Hahaha no I'm gonna try and get it back together here this weekend! Well the bed rack part anyways. The roof part might have to wait till Xmas break.

And 2wd fends?? Wtf you smoking bro? Them 4.5" fiberwerx fenders! But yes I am going to have to trim them just a little bit on the lower part by the pinch weld.

But overall I'm just glad to be driving it again :)
