Sounds like something isn't quite right. I'd suggest something is bent but they're both similar so that isn't likely it. Your front cam bolts are as inboard as possible and your rears are as outboard as possible, correct?

That is correct. I'm trying to figure out why everything is so out of whack.

I go directly off the Belmetric website. I'm only buying the 10.9 JIS yellow zinc coated heavy duty bolts and like them much better than the McMasters, looks and finish wise. I've been really happy with them and am willing to pay a little extra for them if I have to. They've had all the weird stuff I've wanted so far.

For example, find me this bolt on boltdepot.com that is 10.9 JIS yellow zinc plated for cheaper and that you can get matching serrated flange nuts for and matching extra thick washers. Belmetric has them.

Mine has always sat just a hair above half. 3/4 would be alarming to me.

That's likely in the 230° range. Mine would climb to that temp when my rad was plugged with mud.

If you adjust the front bolt more outboard it should help your camber but you'll lose castor.

    .

Yeah I should have rented a puller. Oh well, next time I need to do it (hopefully never) I will rent one.

On the bright side, I just got the seal installed and everything torqued. I tightened the nut to where it was and then went slightly past that. So far nothing sounds bad and everything is smooth. I guess I’ll wait until the diff explodes to know if I did it correctly.

Can I compensate by adjusting the position of the ball joint? I never had an issue before installing the new uppers.

I don't think so. I think it's as far in as it can be in the D position. You don't have it installed 180° out do you?

    We had:
Driving through tight brush (pinstripes for everyone)
    2 water crossings
1 somewhat precarious situation rolling around an obstical
Had to pull a tree out of our way
    Snow
    Mud

    Awesome views

All in all a one of the best day drives I've been on. @Hookgrip and @Blue Canary trucks did OUTSTANDING on the fresh lifts.

Met @thatrafael23 today. He came along with us... Super cool dude.

And we made it to my spot. Home away from home for Mr and Mrs Uphillshunter. We had to be one of the first vehicles in this season Only saw one other set of tracks going in to our spot.

couldn't find anything here or on the interwebs. Very few options for first gen headlights. Pretty happy with the result.

    Yes. That's your issue.

The top bolt can move the ball joint inwards and outwards. You have yours too far outwards.

Its actually pushed all the way inward, in the D setting. I think Ryan hit it on the head when he brought up the ball joints being backwards.
What I ment in the post you quoted was adjusting the castor to compensate for the camber. Didnt know how much it would help change it.

I tried scanning your build thread but too many pages and no links or mention to what you've done... Can you point me in the right direction of seeing this under-bed jerry can holder?

Maybe someday I'll organize it... Here's I think my first mention of it with the oem crossmember. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...-turbo-4x4-build.319830/page-12#post-14949653

 Nice - yeah, their site looks a lot more competitively priced. Gotta love the markup that happens on the 'zon sometimes. But hey, Free Prime shipping, lol.

Here's the boltdepot equivalent - a few cents cheaper, but definitely nothing to worry about.

It seems like the shock mount crossmember is pretty far back, no?

Is this where you got the hardware for your shocks? I gotta order the bolts still, running the same shock mounts as you and same shocks lol.

I don't think so. With the shock tabs I am using, it lines up the mounts at about the same angle the stock locations sit at. I also chose the spot based on where the tube was fitting under the bed prior to removing it.

Nah, I totally forgot about hardware, so just went to Home Depot with @Speedytech7 when I was down there and picked up some 10.9 stuff there. Freaking expensive, but such is life sometimes.
