What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

I forget what the decibel level on four are, but with eight it pushes 120dB. Between shotgun blast and turbine engine.

 

People create accounts just to buy sets from me. I see a lot of 1-2 post people who never are active until my GB.

 

I saw that too. And it seems some dont even follow through once they learn about lead times.

 

No flat spot or grinder with me and no extra car right now... Might need to call my old man and have him bring me my tools... I’m working in my new house and haven’t fully got all my tools here yet

 

The longest it’s taken me to sell out is maybe a few hours. People stay up and wait for their order message.

 

This is precisely why I diy'd mine. I have 0 patience and love my sleep lol. If you open the orders at midnight your time, that's like 3am for me lol.

 

I'm too impulsive and impatient. I did it so I could work on something. But think I want to go to 8 horns. Is the price the same w/ or w/o wiring and mounting hardware?

 

I don’t usually sell without hardware or wiring.

 

Yeah as Im finding out, that's probably the bulk of your profits in wiring/hardware alone.

 

Mine are sick . way louder than than stock

 

I haven't gotten to stand in front of it, maybe it'll sound louder.

 

Harnesses are what set me apart from everyone else. I also sandblast every horn.

 

How did you wire it?

 

No one was complaining about it... I simply stated that $200 + shipping wasn't worth it to ME because I can drive 1/2 hour and pick up a similar kit for less than half that.

I'm sure someone will buy it, and I hope he has GLWS.

14g wire. Relay. 4-circuit terminal block. Grounded at 2 spots and wired directly to the battery.

 

Yeah, they don't mind revving high at all. I pull 4k+ in the passes a lot

Don’t you need to press that old bushing out? Or back in? I remember it was a PITA.

 

12 in shocks fit under the bed with them angled towards the rear of truck straight || with 63s without the shock mount being to much lower than the axle tube. Been running this for several years now and it works well. You can use all the travel just have to find the shackle length, mounting location etc. I have a pictures somewhere if you want it.
