The list of things that we have disagreed with is too long (ball joints, bushings, suspension, etc). The list of things that we have agreed upon is singular though.... i.e. bilsteins suck.

If you end up going to 4 wheel parts take the shocks before you install them. 4 wheel parts by me wouldn't charge mine on the truck.

I would do the easy thing, pull the front driveline and continue down the road. A front bearing should squeal and affect steering, same with shock bushings. Good luck, hope its the cheapest easiest thing.

Sounds wheel speed dependant. Maybe you lost a wheel weight or two? :notsure:

Or maybe some broken wheel studs.

I’ve been meaning to install mine. It’s plug-n-play from what I’ve read on 2001-2004, however since the cruise control changed in 2001 the cruise control stalk on the IS300 wheel isn’t compatible on 1995-2000. This can be fixed by simply swapping the resistors on the stalks, there’s only three of them.

Five minutes with a soldering iron probably.

I also snatched the clockspring because I wanted the trans shifters to control track up/down and volume up/down instead of shifting the transmission. Easy to do with some additional resistors and a stereo interface.

If you don’t care about cruise control or the shifters it’ll bolt right up to your steering column. You just have to do a little repinning to get the horn to work.

The IS300 is a desirable steering wheel swap because the airbag squibs are the same. It isn’t the dual stage charge found on most other Toyotas. Only a few vehicles of the era still used that old single stage squib, including the IS300 and RAV4.

You should see the sides of my truck....they're just trail pinstripes, nothing to worry about. The bright red paint hides them pretty well though
