    I'm saying the coolant system is a loop. The heater core is part of that loop. If the heater core is plugged, or restricted, it would be plugging (or restricting) the entire loop... No?

    It is a loop but I believe the coolant bypasses the heater core when you’re not using it.

    He's got more or something else going on as well. The main upper rad hose can't feel coolant moving through. So something is up

    I don't remember there being a bypass... Not saying there isn't one. But first thing I'd do is flush the heater core (reverse flow) and see what comes out.

    the heater core valve is on the fire wall. It is how temperature is regulated through the core, by restricting coolant to the core. If you have the heater off, lets say the dial all the way into the blue, no coolant is flowing through the core at all. as you start to turn or slide(depending on year and HVAC controls) the control into the red, more coolant flows into the core.

    I've heard a lot of great things about ECGS but to have sent out and received my rebuilt diffs back in 7 days is truly impressive.

    5.29's and double locked is just around the corner :transformer:

    Well it was running hot regardless which position the heater core valve control was at didn't make any difference if it was on hot or whether it was on cold for AC,
    And I did replace that valve about a year ago anyway the dealership has it so I should get some feedback tomorrow

    I can't tell you how many Yellow Tops I've had. I don't know off the top of my head. I've never had to replace one. They've always lasted longer than I had the vehicle.

    Updated a bunch of small things on the front end: headlight assembly, new LED bulbs, side marker assembly, grille, lower valance. Trying to decide if I want to replace the chrome bumper with black now.
