What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

About as bolt on as you can get, 4 bolts and you’re in business, 10 if you include the lug nuts

 

Looks like it was answered. I had no idea.

 

They bolt right in, Ive taken mine out a few times to replace the bearings or get them rebuilt and it takes maybe 10 min per side to install them. 3 bolts up top and one on the bottom

 

must be nice not dealing with rust.

 

We've been over this, the western side of the country is superior.

 

Where did you get that from? Was it custom? I’d like to get one made that has two boots for a twin stick transfer case

 

other than the rust im happy where i am.

I would mostly agree with this. Except California. There is nothing superior about California.

 

You might also have to bend the striker just a bit of you run out of adjustment at the latch.

 

Does anyone know the correct part number for the front oil pump/input shaft seal on a 3.4 automatic trans? Mine is leaking, and I'm pulling it to replace. Ive found part #90311-38029, but toyotapartsdeal says that #90311-35047 replaces the first number. I ordered both because I was unsure, but now I've realized that toyotapartsdeal sent me two 90311-35047 instead of one of each part number.

 

That means it's a revised part. The cross reference will usually do that.

 

I assumed so, I was just a little concerned I may have missed something and needed some reassurance.

 

So the original part number has been discontinued. That 35047 number is the new number according to the site you mention, I checked a different parts search site and it also said original PN has been discontinued but listed 90311-38020 as the superceding PN. So I'm not sure. Maybe @Empty_Lord has access to some direct lookup system we don't.

Picked up a set of BMW 330i seats for 200 bucks.

For my kid @RobertsT4R 3rd Gen runner

 

Also replaced all the bushings in @RobertsT4R auto shifter with bushings from @Brice

Here's one of the old ones... They were all WORKED.


If you have play in your shifter... HIGHLY recommend these... they make a huge improvement. The shifter feels brand new now.

 

Finished the mount for my secondary phone.

Works out better than I thought it would.
