What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

I'm excited to test them out out night, I need to adjust them though. These were like the only ones that I could find that don't have the little blue led or whatever under the actual bulb.

 

I got those ones you just mentioned lol. I just basically cut the wire to the bulb and left the bulb in there.

I need to get some..and more LED bars..

 

I got bored and put in a "simulated" security led using a dash insert from our LC.

 

Cool, where did you find that?

and the dash insert was from our fj80 landcruiser and i just swapped out the blank insert. i'm sure they are online for cheap somewhere...

 

Id run a sc if I didnt have to.run premium with it

 

Just did the LED dash mod. Was pretty easy except my steering wheel does not tilt. Other than that pretty stright forward. Ill post pics when its dark out.

Did you get your clear blinkers (in the bumper) from eBay? Any quality issues?

 

Its really not that much more..like i think it comes out to like 1-2 bucks more a tank. Plus! if you run Exxon 91..Ethanol FREE!

where i got mine(before the truck rolled) They were totally good. No issues.

here's a tricky one for everyone....

for weight, which would be the lighter option?

1) 265/75/16
or
2) 265/75/15

i only ask because i'm looking at getting new tires/rims soon...

will the smaller rim/more rubber tire be lighter or heavier than a bigger rim/less rubber?

thoughts? (hope that makes sense)
