The fella I bought it from. I know, I know, no receipt, no proof, but considering how carefully he packed it, and how he made sure everything was included, I'm sure he was being truthful. He did mention that the needle bearings weren't done, just the nose cone, and that it all sounded good. Any which way, I'm still happy with it, even if it needs a bit of work.

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

I'd say it's a solid 5, maybe 6 out of 10 on the trail it's self. There are 2 freestyle sections where you can make it harder than Dusy or Fordyce, but you don't have to go through there.

1st two miles from the trail head are definitely the hardest only one obstacle that doesn't have a work around. But that's just a very steep hill with loose gravel and dust. As long as you take a good line and have halfway decent tires it's not a bad deal.

My buddy did it in his 2nd gen with about 2 inches of lift and 265s. He took some pretty good damage to his front bumper. Fortunately he has sliders and full skids, or it could have gotten ugly.

From what I understand Levitt is just a pretty drive to an awesome lake. Ive hiked up around there and walked up to Levitt peak off the PCH, but never have done the trail. Theres so much to explore up around this area it could take a while to see it all. Ill have to look up the other places you mentioned. I could imagine they're pretty sweet too.

Nice, I’ll have to check it out! And front bumper damage means time to upgrade!

Yeah, good chance the seafoam added to the oil changed the overall tint.
I wouldn't be concerned. Just make sure to notice that the tint/color of the oil is back to normal next change:D
Good for you for even noticing that I first place. I don't think a quickie lube woulda noticed, let alone cared

Most likely going to run that trail Sunday or Monday if you want to join. Theres some really cool trails around it too that take you into the emmigrant wilderness and one of the oldest juniper trees.

And I know of the Bennett Juniper. Been within 5 miles of it many times. I've never actually seen it though.

The trees are related I think, but the bristlecone is also an awesome tree, and much older. the bristlecone pine forest is also worth a look if you’ve never been.

Working on my flatbed project. Started to dis-assemble the bed while ago. Plan to re-use the bottom half. Anyway, pulled the front panel off to make it easier to remove the plastic bed liner.

Found a friend waiting for me to stick my hand under the liner and pull it up. Brown recluse. He had been under there a while and had lost a lot of his color, but no mistaking by those long, delicate legs.

You don't want a bite from. Here is why: https://tinyurl.com/yd6t5tfv

Looks fake, but this is the zoom on the above picture. Samsung 16MP cameras are awesome.

Took my skids off for my oil change mostly because they needed a good beating the opposite direction. My lower control arm is rubbing prettying hard on both sides, I’m thinking about cutting that portion out and welding some 3/16 2” strap there to give it some clearance. 6F019A98-7AD3-4B4B-9466-C0E043B49FDD.jpg

    Hey guys,
New to Tacoma ownership. After buying my Tacoma, today I put new tires on, as well as a new head unit and front speakers. Tomorrow I am going to soundproof the cabin and install the rear speakers!
