It really is. I'm seeing it more and more as a valid option if/when my paint needs to be addressed. I think it made a big difference with how well he prepped and that he added some thinner to the paint mix so it's smoother and not as rough a texture.
Looks really freaking good, especially in that color

Yeah a beat up 95 v6 manual. The "dirt truck" as she calls it. Kid that owned it before her used house paint with a brush and roller to paint it a weird drab green hahaha but works good for running around town and hauling her gardening stuff.

Like Toyotas. Every vehicle we own is a toyota. Between my immediate family we have 4 1st gen tacos, 1 2nd gen taco, 1 3rd gen 4runner, a sienna, and an Avalon. Lol we have a problem.

If the top coils are not touching each other, they are still doing their job and are not worn out yet. The non-trd springs are linear. And from what Monte is saying, so are the 3rd gen 4-runner springs.

#2 would be the non-trd springs. An inspection would verify that. The trd/offroad spring is progressive, indicated by the coils on the upper portion of the spring.

Cleaned up the Diff mounts with some engine degreaser. Probably gonna paint all the steel components with POR15 before I get ready for assembly

@JoeyWales , looks good, I'm going to try and do mine this fall when the weather cools a bit. While I was doing my rear shocks, I noticed my undercarriage is in really good shape. I have some light surface rust on the frame in places, but nothing to worry about. I see some of the rust buckets posted here on TW and think, no way in hell would I drive that.

Thanks bud. Waiting for it to cool would be nice but, I’m busy in the fall with working out of town. It’s been a scorcher these past two days. Real feel around 105 with SC humidity. Hoping to wrap up tomorrow.

I have seen a few rust buckets on here. “Luckily” I only had two places of rot in the typical spots. Considering this truck spent 2004-2014 in the New England area, I’m grateful. Although every single bolt has the chance of shearing. I’ve sheared and replaced countless bolts. From 8mm to 19mm. I need a donor truck just for misc bolts lol
