So I have a question. Has anyone tried fitting 3rd gen seat backs to our trucks bottom seat section?

Front runner has the wolf boxes back in stock! So I ordered up 4 of them. Glad I only had to wait 2 days and not 2 weeks like they said on the phone

My hose was resting on the fan shroud for who knows how long and there were grooves in the hose half way through the hose.

I usually polish the 02 Sensor shield on a regular basis to keep it shiny.

Bozeman is a good spot. Lots of hiking and fishing to be had. How is having that antenna mounted to the ARB? I think a CB is in the near future and I’ve been considering that location.

Those exhaust flanges and bolts are soooo clean. Is that exhaust new? If original exhaust, how many miles on your Taco? Probably only 10,000 miles total on your tacoma for it to be that clean:D

it's not bad, I like it well enough. you'd think it would get in the way of visibility but after the first 30 miles you really just see through it. i've considered moving it to the fender a few times but never really felt the need to. especially since it involves drilling holes in the fender. i'm not opposed to drilling but i prefer to avoid it when possible. i think it's a good location but it might wear on someone's nerves. at this point, the only time i see moving it is if I put a small light bar on those bracket. I don't see that happening for a while since i'm very happy with the amount of light that my current lights provide but that's the only example where i might move it.

Basically i'm happy with the location:D. as far as Radios, i've got a Midland 1001LWX but i've also heard good things about the Uniden. both of them fit pretty perfectly in the ashtray slot with minimal plastic trimming and a right angle coax connector. That assumes you're alright with sacreficing the ashtray which, IMHO, provides the ideal location for the CB. @Yetimetchkangmi also did a good job fitting a full size. he put a picture up in my build here: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/razs-04-tacoma-trd-build.617343/page-6#post-23010075

here is the radio i've got. I don't use it much but i've been happy with it overall:

Swapped in new coil packs. Been having horid misfiring which I thought was my tranny slipping. But codes followed the cylinder when I swapped packs around.

Hopefully this is the current because it's a lot cheaper(although OEM coil packs..ouch) and easier to do than a tranny.

Thank you sir!! It's the original exhaust, and I wish it only had 10,000 miles. It's actually 151,000.
I've read all the nightmares on this forum about the difficulties of removing bolts due to rust so I every time I change the oil/filter I spray just a dab of Fluid Film on them. Especially the two bolts securing the heat shield for the 02 sensor. I don't want to have to cut it off due to rust.
I sprayed the entire exhaust with VHT SP117 FlameProof Coating Flat Aluminum about two years ago. You can see where the rust in coming through so I'll probably redo it next year.

Hey SwampYota. You’ve inspired me, so I’ll probably do that.
I’ll tag you when I start the thread.
Any suggestions on what the title should be??
