The yellowish (3200-3500 Kelvin) light given off by the halogen bulbs is much better in inclement weather compared to the white, or even the blu-ish white light of led emitters. Anyone that says otherwise is ignoring the science. But then we seem to live in a world where that is condoned as acceptable behavior. :notsure:

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

I have a feeling I may need to do this soon. What are the symptoms?

I'm starting to hear a squeeking coming from the front (seems like) passenger side. It isn't that loud, but I hear it. Hasn't gotten to the point where I've really stood next to the truck or with the hood open to nail it down... yet.

Mine chirped and grinded pretty badly when it was going out, not all the time but got progressively worse. And would get louder/quieter depending on RPMs

If you go through a lot of mud, snow, water etc they tend to not last very long

Also it had wiggle play to it when you moved it by hand, no good

<<<<<For the Tacoma Gods>>>>I've been looking all over for those tiny bulbs in the Diff Locker Switch and 4 Way Flasher Switch. They are small bulbs that, I'm assuming light up when the headlights are on. Didn't know they existed until I had to replace a brake warning bulb and had the dash apart. I think I was better off not knowing they had bulbs in them, now my OCD is acting up...

I know the one in the hazard switch is a neo wedge style led.

I had a grinding almost squealing sound coming from the front, had to get underneath to tell it was the idler. Didn’t really have too much play. I had done it recently and used a cheap bearing. Got a nice one this time

Painted one of my half shafts, still beats buying LT CVs new.
