Just faded, I used these to bring mine back and they seem decent. Better than spray painting in my opinion.

Interesting. Cerakote makes good stuff, but never seen those wipes before.

If you're going to spray paint, make sure you use something with an adhesion promoter in it to ensure that it sticks to the plastic. I used this stuff and it worked well

I've heard that works well but in the long run causes them to fade more? Never tried it myself, but mine have been painted over so I doubt it'd work anyway.

I've found if you take a shop rag and spray some WD40 on it and wipe the flares with it, they stay nice and black for a few weeks give or take haha.

Best $100 mod ive spent on this truck. The quality of this snorkel is top notch actually.. no different than a name brand. 5/5 stars for me

After finally deciding not to get a new car (and car payment), the hubby decided to get The Classic done up a little. Has a work car so he doesn’t drive The Classic that much anymore. Paint (clear coat was peeling), body work for dings here and there (a few bigger than dings), black parts refreshed, new grille, windows tinted, bed liner done, and new suspension/lift and tires/wheels. He’s pretty happy with it. Waiting for new seat covers and floor mats and trying to decide on a low key new stereo. The stereo guy wanted to sell him one he could watch You Tube, etc on. My husband said that was a little much for a 20+ year old truck. Still original engine....knock on wood.

Wanted to keep it true to the age and generation while fixing it up.

A few weeks ago I raised the back of the drivers seat to see if I liked it. I did so I finished the mount for the inside rear corner. Nothing fancy just a small plate with two holes and a bolt. Raised it 1-1/4"

Got them in and bled today. Seem to use just a little more peddle than stock but a huge improvement in stopping power. Shout out for @turbodb for the help and Tacoma to Tundra brake lines!
