What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

Unfortunately, me and the other guy have 98-00 grey interiors aka moon mist which is different than the 95-97 grey which is different than the 2001+ grey. Moon mist is a blue/grey color and hard to match.

 

Does anybody know if this gives a lift or keeps it at stock height?

 

All Pro leaf springs will give you a lift in the rear, standard ones probably about 3" unloaded.

If you're looking for replacement leaf springs that don't provide lift, probably should look at General Springs or a company that sells OE replacement leaf packs. All Pro and Dakars are going to give you a lift in the rear

 

I'd double check those shocks, those may not be for a lifted application

 

Scan gauge 2 does read auto trans temp for first gens right?

 

I have somewhere between 2.5-3” of lift from my All Pro Standards with a 100lb rear bumper. I’ve been very happy with the ride thus far.

 

It would if your truck has the temp sensor, some don't. My 01 did.

 

IIRC it can for the later years but not the earlier ones

 

So my 04 should be good then?

 

04 should be able to but you might need to find the code off SG's website to access the reading

I've heard it's hit or miss within years. If yours doesn't and you can just swap a sensor, not sure if it's that easy, I've got my old trans I can pull it off of.

 

Just got finished with JBA uca , 1” 4crawler body lift, lean spacers, removed the longer shackles, and installed all pro leaf pack.

 

Today I broke my passenger handle, crack my windshield, got our asses kicked in a lion race, and found out my positives battery connectorer thingy is messed up.

 

Is your truck bedlined? I have questions

Sooo....

My radio doesn’t turn on and my climate control panel lights also don’t come on.

I checked all the fuses I thought (what google said) could be the issue, any ideas?

I don’t really wanna pull the radio and check it’s fuse right now, don’t know how it’d affect the Climate lights.
