To be honest the only difference I really noticed was that the noise my OEM ones were making went away, was getting a scrubby/clunk like noise from them every time I'd come to a dead stop because they were starting to go bad. Silent now with the poly bushings in.

I did my steering rack bushings about the same time and those made for a better feel in the steering definitely, but my old ones were letting the rack move around a lot when cranking the wheel

    I don't think so.

I think the Solarian ones are better.

Whitelines still use an OEM desgin with a metal sleeve. These don't. They just go right into the arms like bushings do on everything else you have(leaf springs, aftermarket UCAs, aftermarket LCAs, ect). So when you have to replace them, it's super easy and you don't have to press any damn sleeves out of anything.

And then there's the hardness argument that they layout which im not 100% sure on. I have a set I want to put in my DD both uppers and lowers so will find out.

But in terms of just ease of install and maintenance, they win hands down.

Looks like the bushings are made by Strongflex, Sonoran just sells them

Might try and see if they are listed someplace else

I still wouldn't get those over whitelines unless you're solid mounting your lowers in a neutral position.

Those flat edges don't like to cooperate with alignment cams that are off center.

Holding an alignment with my Solo LCAs and similar bushings has been a pain in the dick. Never had a problem with whitelines and stock arms.

Well, noticed that my skid plate was hanging on by a thread yesterday while hunting at a friend's property about 2.5 hrs from home:confused:. not sure when it happened but it looks like one bolt backed out and the other had the weld-nut shear off. whatever the case, I crawled under there and fixed it with some Zip ties for the time being. not structural by any means but it should keep it up and out of the way for a while. Don't anticipate i'll be wheeling much over the next couple of months anyways so it shouldn't be a problem. looks like it might be time for some new skids after that tho. Any input on what kind would be greatly appreciated. I was going to build my own but right now I don't have access to a shop or most of my tools and I won't be back at my parent's house in WA long enough to find time to fab some up. heard good things about budbuilt and skid-row...

    f*ckin mint!
    upload_2020-11-12_16-20-14.jpg

also, while i was under there I noticed that my driver's side CV boot was leaking. not a full on tear yet, but There's a definite leak and looks to be some dry rot on the boot so it may not be long for this word. whatever the case, it should be good to get me back to WA/OR for the holidays and then back here. I'll deal with it then. Not sure whether to re-boot or just get new CVs and keep the old ones as spares. also need to do the front brake lines and UCAs so that might happen at the same time. I'll need to ask around to see if I can get a buddy to lend me their garage.

Should also weld some cam tabs on while I’m doing LCAs. Total Chaos? I was waiting for the set from marlin, but I’ve given up on them completely at this point.

I'll be putting the Strongflex (SonoranSteel) ones in sometime in Dec/Jan when I do a bunch of winter work.

I've realigned my truck after every wheeling trip this year.

Either it's the Solos, or my driving suddenly got extra shitty.

I would solid mount them with heimed uppers, but it's all getting replaced with a Dana 60 here soon.

I would consider them, but they are sold out currently. Didn’t you put whitelines on your truck already?

My gear tech ones are kinda falling apart on me. I think I have had them for about 2 years now. A little unfortunate
