So yours look clear, not the smoked version. Is that correct? I wonder if the smoked version would inhibit the lights much.

Also wondering if the red signal bulbs cold be swapped for some amber ones. I was thinking similar to what earlyberd said about having red signals vs amber.

What part# reverse LED did you use?

Only when the brakes are in use, I could only find one vacuum line going to the booster or whatever it is.

I can’t pinpoint it...

 

Get a towel or something to cover up different parts of the motor until the sound is muffled by the towel. Then you will know it is in the area under the towel. Then get a small rag and cover smaller areas that the towel cover when the sound was muffled until you narrow it down and find it. Just be careful so you don't get the towel caught in the belts or fan.

 

As high pitched as the sound is, it sound like you could have a hole in one of the vacuum lines

 

I just replaced the blue ones today, did it before I replaced them.

 

One off or a hole some where if it is a vacuum leak.
Could it be a bearing, maybe the AC tensioner?

Well dang it

 

Check the grommet where the vacuum line connects to the brake booster if its not that you could have a bad booster.

 

The grommet where the reservoir connects to valve?

 

Circled in red there is a rubber grommet behind the metal piece that the hose hooks to.

 

Move the metal piece that the hose connect to and see if the sound changes

 

I did.

it only changes when I put pressure on the reservoir

 

My idle was high and my fuel trims were whacked when my brake booster had a vacuum leak.

 

Whats it supposed to idle at? I don’t have a way to look at fuel trims at the moment

 

~750 rpm or so

 

Warmed up idle should be ~700 rpms.

 

Sounds like a bad booster
