I recently found out that I broke my passenger side leaf spring under normal driving conditions. I was pissed, also found out that this seems to be common with the tacos. To fix this problem, I installed a 3" Old Man Emu lift with 17" ballistic rims. I'm quite impressed with this set up. I would have gone with bigger rims and tires, but due to the fact that my taco is only a 2.7l, I didn't want to rob the engine of too much power. My baby has a 5 speed manual tranny, so shifting down still gives it impressive power and torque. Just put on a Soft topper canvas canopy, it's great, easy to remove. Planning on changing out the exhaust, adding cold air intake, and maybe a chip to increase hp. Looking at installing a ARB bumper, if anyone has any other recommendations, please feel free to let me know. I like to think of my taco as the "Westcoast Edition". It definitely turns heads.

I bent the posts. I don't have a vice (live in an apartment), so I clamped the posts to an imovable object and bent the headrest back a few inches. It takes a little effort (full body weight and then some).

The posts remain aligned with each other and slid right into the seat.

I just bought a 2013 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab 4X4 with the TRD sports package this past saturday. I am thinking about buying some mats from weathertech as my 1st mod to my truck.

However, I am having trouble deciding which mats to buy. What do any of you all recommend....the All Weather Floor Mat or the Floorliner???? I plan on buying the mats either today or tomorrow. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Floor liners w/o a doubt. Click the search button and look around and that's about all you'll find people use for good reason. Just order 'em up. You won't be disappointed.

First off, floor mats are NOT a mod! Having said that, I have the Weather Tech floor liners and they are AWESOME!! Have definitely saved me anxiety about ruining the carpet. I got gray and it blends nicely with my interior.

Floor liner is the way to go in my opinion, that's what I put in my 13. :D
