Unfortunately, the thin plate is still there. I just cut off the studs and then drilled through the plate. I will completely replace that plat eventually when I get the time. I didn't get any pics

They look like they fit every bit a well (or better) than the overpriced Weathertechs and yes, I'm a Weathertech owner.

never seen WT personally... This is my 1at Taco and only had it for a lil over a week… 5/6/13

I just didnt like the fact they charge shipping but the MSRP is about same…

I heard great things about both brands for the most part. there's is a guy in one of the NJ threads that had them both and liked the Huskys better, and its good to hear feedback from someone that has used both products….
also, not a deal breaker but the Husky's emblem/Branding its just branded/molded the same color as the mat… i didnt care much for the WT having that logo that looks glued on… I liked the plainness on the Husky more

    Announcing THE ONE . . . . THE ONLY . . . . RETRACTABLE CUBBY LED SPOTLIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT!!!!

    (2) 3/16" rivets
    (2) 3/16" washers
    copper wire support strut
    plastic coated clothesline wire
    (2) LED foglights (swiveling/multipositional type)

Also put in some under bedrail LED's, a 4-position switch panel and a 4-position fuse panel velcro'd to the carpet on the bed. I should be set now to add another LED light circuit for rear exterior lighting, a 12V socket, whatever.

Cut out the old grill and installed a T-Rex. The first cut was nerve wracking!

    1. Did the sleeved fog light mod
    2. Fab'd a permanent cell phone holder out of some sheet metal and a cheap window mount. Don't know why the pic makes the one side look spotty...it doesn't look that way in person.
    3. Made a little cushion for armrest. My elbow always gets sore on long trips...not any more!
