added a toughbox w/ chain to the bed for outdoors equipment storage, and roadtrip cooler storage! then took it up to Mt. Lemmon today to BS around in the dirt and snow.

I'm not usually big on 18" wheels on the Tacos but those somehow work REALLY well. Good looking truck

I've found on toyota website with my VIN that there is a recall emitted on november 2014 but i never received it... I said that if a leaf is broken the dealer will change it and of i already got it repaired I can have my money back... Too bad for me I paid cash to get the job done...

I will try to find the recall to show it on the forum after Christmas :p

    Merry Christmas to everyone!!!

I entered my VIN for the 12 TRD OR and got only one recall. A tire inflation sticker needs to be placed on driver's B pillar. Nothing else.
Does that mean the others have been done or there were no others for my Taco?

The rear leaf spring recalling think only goes up to some time in 2011 model year

Recalls and TSBs are not the same. The leaf spring issue was a TSB not a recall. Same with the front differential needle bearing. Widespread known problem but not a full blown recall. They only fix it if yours actually shows failure.

Here's a TSB I had done on my truck - B-0044-14. This is for spark knock noise. 2012 - 2014 with the V6. It's covered under the Toyota emission warrany - 96 months or 80,000 miles. I also received the same notice you did abou the air pressure. That's been it so far. No recalls.

Actually the leaf springs have been moved to a recall now. My brother in law has received his recall letter and the dealer just told me last week that I would be receiving one soon.

That's good to hear. I wonder how far back they will recall them. Many folks are likely out of warranty period.
