I just had my A.R.E. flush mount cap installed, next to come is the leveling kit. I'm glad I decided not to sell my Tacoma to buy a Tundra.

I took my kid to Target and when I came out there was a gigantic bird shit right over my TRD sport sticker! That was the first birdshit on my taco.....

So I washed it and found a small paint chip on the roof.......

I also bought one of those California Car Duster things.

You kind of get used to it..but this season of rain and snow has lasted longer than any in previously recorded history.
It is still snowing in some parts of the mountains. They say the good stuff is on the way tho.. I'm fukin sick of it....

So, I finally made time to get these skid plates on. I'm really impressed with these skidrow skid plates. I have also put on the transmission plate as well.

I used the tail gate as a work bench in the drive way this afternoon. Worked well. With the lift, everything is at the perfect height.

yup...long story short...i ended up smashing my front end up and deploying the airbag...though i wasnt going fast enough to actually HIT the airbag...got burned on my arm from the propellant but no other injuries...

shit happens and the car should have been deadlined before i got it...i just sped up the process and now have a sweet unmarked unit :D

Reminds me of a job we were doing on a government installation, lots of cops, lots of cops driving around in their black tahoes and expeditions. The building we were, uh, building was next to the main office. We had two loads a gravel come in for the ditch work, we put it on the street, coned it off. One day guy gets in his tahoe, must've been late for his post or whatever, speeds off.....into the gravel pile. No seatbelt. Smacks his face against the windshield. They had the ambulance come get him. Found out later they take the bags out. The tahoe this guy was piloting was eventually totalled out.

I'm not laughing at you when I say this but we laughed at that guy that day 'cause some of the cops there were total dicks. I know they had a job to do and they took it very seriously but given the scrutiny that we went thru just to work there it's not like we were terrorists. Some of those guys had it in for anybody who wasn't on the force.
