Currently letting paint dry. Converting chrome grill to body colored silver.

Separated the chrome bezel from black grill body and sanded/scuffed all of the chrome.

    Shot two coats adhesion promoter

    Shot three coats base

    shot 4-5 coats clear

    Wet sand and buff

Nice all day project to get it to come out right.

Black or dark gray headlight mod next week maybe.

    Added these yesterday: http://www.suspensionconnection.com/cgi-bin/suscon/550t.html

Toyota was going to allow a $500 credit on the suspension TSB since I was "timed" out of warranty. That meant that I would have to cover the rest of the cost (about $2000) if I wanted the 4-leaf pack. This would have really stiffened up the ride and these springs only come into play with a 500-lb load. They do not affect the unladen ride at all.
