I think the worst part about working for AEP as a electric meter reader (in the sticks) was when the 4x4 Bronco could not get to the electric fence.

Then you had to walk through the tall grass and those "little b@stard snakes" would be everywhere "sunning themselves" ...

AEP (Appalachian Electric Power) gave us "leg snake protectors" but they took forever to put on and were impossible to use while driving ...

I had several "snake strikes" at me that summer ... and I used my "homemade snake stick" (with nails in the tip) to kill those little b@stards ... :D

My "snake stick" looked like something that barbarians would use in warfare ... ... but it worked on their "snake heads" ... :D

Installed my 32" LED light bar. Ended up going for the lower grill option. I had to drill 4 holes in top of the aluminum crash bar, and then 4 large holes in the front to be able to access the bolts. Kind of a pain in the ass, but I couldn't really think of any better way. Getting the nuts and washers on was quite a challenge, as was tightening them. The holes i cut in the front are too small for 2 fingers, and allow for about 1/16 of a turn with a ratcheting box end wrench.

Wired it hot into the cab, where I placed a switch in one of the blanks.

I'll get some night shots later, its gnarly. Light for days. Makes my headlights seem like obsolete.

Looks awesome man! I was debating whether or not to put mine there, but I ended up mounting it to my push bar. Great work!

Looks good and time-consuming to steal.

You should have drilled holes on the bottom of the crash bar instead. That way you can reach in there with a common socket extension to tighten the nut. :D

Does driving 6 hours towards the mighty hurricane count? It was a sunny and 48 at home in Wisconsin, but not so much is Ohio and NY

Thanks man! its not perfect, but i like it a lot.

I know! that would have been MUCH easier! And i had the same thought about 30 seconds after I finished drilling with the hole saw!

    Thanks!

Thank you, I still have to finish trimming and sanding the plastic in the lower grill. The lightbar was used, got it off a TW member. Basically its identical to the Morimoto bars that TRS is selling now, but it doesn't have the logo on it. I got it used for $400. They're over 800 for the 32" new.
