Not useless, and yet you admit to knowing you'll probably get pulled over for it. So you spent money on something you know is illegal, know you will get you pulled over, and that will probably lead to a ticket costing you more money. If they pull you over once for it, what are the chances you'll get pulled over again and again until you take them off? At what point do you decide it's stupid to have something costing you legal fees, time on the side of the road, time in court and finally take them off? Not to mention the increased cost of car insurance due to points on your license caused by the tickets.

But by all means, keep them on. The state you live in surely needs more revenue.

Sounds like a good argument against excessive tint too. People are just going to do what they want if they have the money (possibly government funded) to do so. 'murica... I'm moving! :canada:

lol Yup! Tint I can see though. Keeping out the hot sun in Arizona, etc. License plate covers? What's the purpose other than flaunting to the cops that you don't care if they pull you over? Useless, ok maybe not. I'm sure they're a good conversation starter on the side of the road!

I just think it's dumb to do something that you admit is going to cause legal problems later on. It's not a bag of drugs he can hide and hope they don't find, or after market lights he can keep turned off until the cops go away. Those are right there for any LEO to see 24x7.

But like you said, maybe he has money to piss away. :notsure:

I've had three windshields replaced by them in the last three years. No problem with any of them. I really would like to quit trying to single-handedly keep them in business, though!!

    Stock for now...
Changed driveline oil to Mobil 1 75w90 , wish I had done it when it was bought @13k - oil was pretty bad at 21k already . Found out Autozone now carries Fluid Film spray cans in stock - around 11 bucks . Coated a few spots underneath while I was there - mostly bolts holding heat shielding on the body - interesting stuff . Also shot the suspension adjusters/bolts to keep them from corroding , everything still looks pretty new so I'd like to keep it that way . Plan to shoot the whole underside here soon .
