image.jpg Broke out the Dremel and mcgyvered 4 Center caps for the FJ TRD center cap mod. Also did a oil change . Added the tail gate lock mod, and ordered ImMrYo's mirror extension. Want to thank ThatguyJZ - floridaoccifer - ImMrYo and the original poster and of course TW for all the COOL ideas. Thanks JD

I have an 06 sport, which also came with factory bilsteins. However, the shocks from the factory are quite puny, haha. But it depends on what your needs are. If you off road a lot, you'll definitely want different shocks--the 5100s are larger and have much better dampening power. But if you don't off road, the factory shocks are adequate.

Spacers typically aren't recommended as a lift option, they'll definitely feel more sensitive to bumps as well as add stiffness. That 2.5" spacer will also make you 1-1.5" nose-high. If you're just trying to level your truck, a 1" top plate spacer is probably the best route to go outside of buying new coilovers, which is what you would want if you plan on lifting the truck.

There is a reason people buy and resell badges after some paint work. That's why I made sure to give mine away to someone who actually was going to use them.

Why? They are $46 a pop from the dealer. I much rather drop $100 than having re-derp the chrome ones 5 times because they peel. Plus they look way better than derped.

The stuff I derped hasn't peeled and it's been on for about 6 months. As long as you do it right they won't peel

Yep, wouldn't be the craziest allotment of funds I've seen on here by a long shot. I did mine but used a traditional spray paint. Between removing them, putting on new adhesive painting and putting them back on it took a few hours. I don't think $100 is crazy if it comes with the adhesive already on and ready to apply.

In retrospect I probably should have gone the easy route and just derped them lol

Yeah that one certainly got some attention. He ended up selling the truck shortly after putting a lot of money into it
