If the tire is flat or bulging when I get back to it after class... You might get lucky on both happening...

it is just right. sort of too bright if you look right at them but it is plenty for the bed and
given the fact you tap the existing dome light power, sort of amazing you can steal
that much light from it (the leds don't draw a ton of juice) and everything works great.

they fade on and off just like the dome does, but since they are led, they flicker tiny bit doing so
whereas the dome is smooth incandescent

Fog Light, LED Bar in the lower valence, fumoto oil drain plug replacement, backrack
It all started like this:

Removed the grill/ bumper (Easier than I had anticipated),
then drilled some holes in the aluminum blocks behind the crash bar (harder than I had anticipated)

Final Product:
How it sits
[IMG]
Note: I wouldnt mind it sitting a tad lower but its ok where it is.

Output:

No cutting of lower grill involved

NICE! Looks easy and clean. Have you had any issues with the bumper getting in the way of the beam?

just got finished, so i will do some tests tonight/tomorrow to see what happens.
from the looks of it the upper row is still below the top section of the bumper so i dont think it will effect it.

Definitely going to have to "borrow" your plans. My grill guard has mount points on the cross bar, but I like the idea of the light not being exposed to road debris and off road abuse. At least hidden behind the grill it will have some protection.

I imagine the main light output wont be effected much, but it wont have as wide of a throw, mines flush and everything in front of the truck gets illuminated by light. 180 degrees

Did you get the P rated or LT(C or E ply). Considering AT/3 as well.

I have the AT3 in C load 265/75/16. Before I got these, I always ran the BFG AT. I like the AT3 much better, it's a great tire. The C load is a little heavier than the P rated, but less than the E. They ride TONS better than the P rated, feels much more solid and smooth. I wish I had gotten them day 1.

I made small brackets for the a** hole lights out of aluminum angle and bed-lined em so they looked better, and wired them all into a switch on the dash. [IMG] [IMG] [IMG][/IMG]

And finally took an SOS pad to the door badges and matte black'ed them, it is spray paint, not plasti-dip.
