You should be pleased. You got a nice looking rig and did a great job on the install!

Nice looking truck! Now I know what mine would look like with a cap. I'll keep the parts list. Gonna do a hidden winch first, then try to crowd lights in along side of that.

No noticeable difference between the shorty and the 1000' stock antenna. Reception seems to be just fine!

I hot wired my garage door opener to a remote button so it's a little more discreet.

    Tacomaworld.com sticker placed.

    Rear differential breather completed.

I saw someone else do it on here. Thats where I got the idea. Super easy, no drilling, about 6'4" of hose, 3-4 zip ties, and a zip tie sticker mount.

@docloco you have a write up on the garage door opener hardwire?

Also, nice place for the breather!

Why are you afraid of farting in your new truck? It's not like it's going to make her ride shitty.

Actually I was following some else's write up somewhere on TW that I ran across. I'll see if I can find that thread for you. The basic process was open a garage door opener thats already programmed. Find the leads for the button and solder two wires to it. Mine had 4 contacts and I went through trial and error before I found the two that would work. I used this button from flea bay. I used some old cat5 wire that I had laying around. The whole thing probably only took me about 15 minutes to do. I didn't take pics along the way, but here's one I took for you of the back side....
