What have you done with your rusty front bumper?

I have a little rust building up around the ends of my front bumper. I've been debating the options of how to make this look a little better. Seems like a common rough spot on the Tacoma's so was curious what others have done.

I could buy a new or less rusty used bumper.

Do some sort of rust removal and paint.

Or, a little more extreme, but cheap. I was thinking about getting a can of that black spray rubber stuff. Spray the ends, and then a few zebra lines towards the centre. Sound ridiculous?

Along the same lines I was wondering if I could just get the bumper coated with bedliner stuff, but wasn't able to get a quote . Although I suspect that would end up costing as much as a bumper.

IMO get as much of the rust of with some really light sand paper and paint it black. But that's me and I like black lol.. Totally up to you bro. Pics might help.

Sounds good to me, didn't realize you could get bedliner in a can.

I'm keen to go black with the bumper. A nice break from all the silver. I'd love a whole paint job to forest green.
