Ok so most of us have a love or at least a strong affinity towards our tacomas. Yes we get them for various reasons...some like to trick them out, lift them, go off roading, etc. Others just love the look, or the practicality or even Just the Toyota brand. At the End of the day it's still a truck, which in theory was designed to haul stuff. So let's see what some of the more interesting things we have hauled lately with our Tacoma? Mine was a 12 ft tall shelving unit for a storage garage.

How do you like the bass raider, ive been looking at trading up from the 14' zodiac for a while now. Once the ballasts are full and a couple tackle boxes the floatboat barely fits 2 people.

Also out of curiosity has anyone exceeded the max towing capacity yet? I have a project coming up that may push it. I'm curious how the Tacoma holds up?

Sad to see such little response to this thread. Hardly anybody uses their trucks for their main purpose.

I hauled a set of TRD off road wheels and tires from Cincinnati Ohio to Pittsburgh last week, truck never missed a beat and was getting about 20.6 MPG at 75-80mph. Really liking this truck more and more.

I usually don't take pics of stuff that I put in the back of my truck. But when I do I will post it here.

IMG_5888.jpg Should have taken a picture when the little trailer was completely overloaded with 1000lbs of broken down furniture. I do use my truck for work a lot, maybe I'll actually get to push it's limits one day and get a good picture.

I pay for delivery when I need something delivered

I use my 17 Pro to go to the mall and my LouBoutin shoes and Cole Haan satchel go in back seats. That is why I bought a 4 door.

If I wanted to use my truck to haul or work,I would have bought a man's truck, Ford 350 dually diesel 4 door, 4 wheels in the back for $83,000

Rented a Micro Winnie from base and went to a state park in Texas. Had a blast. And truck was great! Bought an inexpensive brake controller since I don't tow often and wanted to be safe. After I got it dialed it everything was great!

A half chord of seasoned (dry)mesquite firewood. I don't What what that weighs. Perhaps green firewood would be heavier. But it is definitely not too heavy for the truck.

Hmm, Tacomas may not be suited to pull 5th wheels, horse trailers or yatches, I get it. But just to be a hipster, millenials downtown truck is not exactly what most people think of. Maybe the appropriate title should be a multi-dimensional or all purpose truck?

I do think your comment about "a man's truck" is funny, yet not sure I agree.
