Yesterday's progress. Today will move a bit slower since I've got to square up each half block before I sew them together

These are a few I made for my fam.

This was my first try. Had the whole thing ready to be quilted and noticed I had a block turned wrong. At least it was in the edge so it was an easy fix.

    Then this one....

Then one each for my boys.

    Then one for my mom.

Well....i don't usually cut it this close but I've got all of my blocks cut, this is what's left. I got a little carried away cutting the 5x5 blocks. Got 5 of those left, they could have been 50" of 2-1/2" pieces which I desperately needed. The largest chunk is about 9x12. I had originally calculated that I needed 1-1/2 yards and I got 1-2/3 so I'm not sure where I went wrong
    0214211629.jpg
Blocks are made, just gotta join them together. Probably going to do that tonight seeing as how it's taking up my living room floor in its current state

Figured I'd spare the spam, but I've been very busy! I'm prepping for another shop drop tomorrow, and this time I have dice and made a couple of necklaces. Here's a few highlights of dice I've made this month:

Holy Moly, gasparic! Those are some of the sweetest one's I've seen from you yet! The colors.. the swirled patterns.. Such beauty!! I might be alone in this, but I was so relieved to see your talents come to fruition and it not be weird spaghetti-o and bean contracts this time!:kona::yes:

@MTgirl I liked seeing the day to day process of the quilt. That was fun to follow along! The coffee cups looks like you'll be having fun with layouts!

Still wowwing over @Whitebutler's nugget find and him sitting under a tree snacking on a sandwich with that beaut in his pocket!

Part 2 of the America the Beautiful Series...
Wasn't in the truck much.

PS: MTgirl, yellowstone and Teton's will be in either the next video or one after. I've saved your thread to sit down and give it a proper read, but it looks great!

Today was FooDIE Friday on my Instagram, and I really like how these turned out. Another dice maker challenged me to a "Ramen Dice" duel. I'll post mine at the top and theirs below.

Thank you so much! I'm definitely still doing weird dice though, haha. I got overwhelmed with custom orders and had to pull the listings a few days ago and have been getting blown up with questions about when the spaghettios are coming back

I know nothing about dice and how to make them but yours look a lot nicer. Amazing work.
Such an odd thing to be know for! Hopefully you're enjoying this niche you've found yourself in!

I agree, the dice and now jewelry are really a nice touch. Very creative talent.

3D printed a mount to move the factory reverse camera out of the tailgate and onto the swing out carrier on the bumper.

Creality Ender 3 Pro upgraded with a glass bed. It's taken some time to get it dialed in, but I'm really enjoying it. Used it for the enclosure for my homemade switch panel and inclinometer and heated seat switches too.

Nice! I want to get my husband a newer printer; ours is a knock off of a knock off and pretty old as far as 3D printers go. Our X-Axis is all wonky and we've spent a decent portion just replacing parts lol. I got him a used Mars resin printer, but we have yet to fire that up.

I spent most of last weekend working on the teacup quilt I posted about above. Then after spending about 12 hours on it and only being halfway done I abandoned it...working on little projects like that make me crazy so they're usually a start/stop over several weeks. I did get 5/9 blocks done so that was a miracle. Will probably average 1 block a week from now on.

And in the meantime, I started on the sock monkey quilt. Got a bit of a head start through the week - didn't have much on my work schedule so I worked on the quilt a little here and there to fill the time. TG for the WFH life! I had about half of the blocks done just working a few hours during the week. I finished the rest last night and today.
I did run out of the tan/cream fabric (emergency run to the store yesterday for more) because it shrank in the wash and was horribly out of square. My 36" yard quickly turned into only 33" of usable. I still need to do the tan strips on the two long edges as soon as I can get the 2nd cut of fabric washed and ironed.
