Went back to the shop again since it started raining again and there was pens that needed turning.

A few pens, most from the past couple days and three from previous turnings. From left . . . (Chrome Sierra), ???? (Gold Sierra), Rebel Punisher (Gold Sierra), and ???? (Chrome Slimline)





There's a Shop Vac under there somewhere.

 

you know those vacuums tend to work better when the switch is in the "ON" position

Yeah, funny how that works. Also helps it the filter isn't caked in saw dust and acrylic shavings.

i would not trust that setup for travelling, or for heavy/thunderstorm winds. So I mounted a piece of PVC to the jack that the pole slides into perfect. Drilled a through hole and will use the pin from the coupler to hold in place. But now you have me thinking about a travel flag...

 

Get the big ones and mount them on the back top corners.

 

Hello all , I am not sure if this is the place to ask but , are there people here that can take a sample part (gear with some teeth missing ) and scan it , and print it in plastic for me ? Maybe print it in metal ?
My wife has several out dated knitting machines from Passat and parts are VERY hard to come by if at all . The gear is less than 1.5x1.5x1.5 inches . Thanks .

Hello , My wife found a place to buy the gear ( auxiliary wheel ) for the Passap Electronic 6000 . Hopefully they really have it . For some reason she stripped the teeth off and does not know why and I hope she finds out before all the gears are gone lol. They stopped making these machines 10 or 20 ? years ago .

Yes that is the place she used . The problem became that she could put things in the cart , but not go any further . She found on a passat forum that others were having the same problem . She wound up calling him on the phone and he told her to send an email with what she wanted and he would respond back with a invoice so she can pay . Something is wrong with his site .
