You’re on TeeDubya because of your husband? That’s sweet.

If y’all see a user named “Miss America” that’d be mine. She has a Prius, though, so don’t expect to see her.

I'm making progress on my latest project. Should be fun once she's done.

I'm the one who convinced him to get the taco haha. He wanted an F-150 until he started doing some research. I also put the down payment on it ;) I'm probably almost as obsessed with it as he is. I'd get a 4runner but you just can't beat that 40 mpg you know

WHAT?!? My 2004 Corolla averaged 26 MPG.

Oh, that's right! I put Eagle GT tires on it and drove it like I stole it.

Mine is at 253k, so I'm really nice to the tranny. I whip the sob around like crazy though xD Mine gets about 35 mpg highway 20 city these days, but the new ones are 40, so that's my next prospect once this beast finally dies. Really don't feel like rewiring my subs any sooner than I have to; especially with those new fancy screened head units... eek. I enjoy my no frills, manual windowed, quarter holding lil car.

I drove a 2017 as a rental, and it about killed me. With the new CVT they are QUICK. I found myself doing 50 in school zones with zero effort.

    It was comfortable otherwise.

On a related note, this is what I made today. For whatever reason it's the only thing that sells on my Etsy shop >.> It really bugs me but I'll take what I can get.

Is that center one a shell that you cut?

Nah, I order a whole nautilus shell pre-cut. I don't have the tools to do the cutting myself yet unfortunately. I just glue these in a box and ship them. They're more expensive than the paintings I spend 30+ hours on that I have listed. It almost feels kinda insulting but people shell it out for whatever reason. They aren't cheap to ship, usps and ups doesn't care if you pay for insurance, they will never refund your claim. So they just keep going up and up in price. But people still buy them so, whatever I guess lol. I make a few bucks profit. I'm unable to work at the moment and trying to save money to go to the mayo clinic so I'll take anything I can get.

I built a bed loft for my twin stepson's twin beds a little while ago. It opened up the floor giving them a huge amount of useable space in their room. This is the unfinished work. We painted the wood dark blue.

There is a ladder for mom to climb up there as she was not a fan of the rock wall.

My cousin had a serious accident last weekend, his ankle was run over by a truck and is now bedridden. I made him a sling that helps elevate his leg and reduce some of the pain.20180915_160516.jpg

A change of pace; I started working on a cross stitch a couple of days ago so I have something to do while listening to college lectures.

I also got a ring saw as an early Christmas gift from a friend, so I bought about 60 pounds worth of scrap glass from a stained glass studio to cut on later. Here's some of it

Cross stitching is proof that you will stab something thousands of times...

To be completely honest, I've probably successfully stabbed myself with glass more than I have this damned cloth. The tips of my fingers resemble that of a masochistic diabetic. Anyways, here's the cross stitch thus far, as well as a testament to how great I am at stabbing myself:
