Haven't posted in here for awhile so I think I'll throw in a few of my recent projects. Couple of paintings and an inset shiplap fireplace wall.

Nooooooo!! You caved to the Joanna Gaines Mafia!!!!

    DEATH TO SHIPLAP!!!

My wife and I are anti-shiplap. So many folks around here have gone crazy following her design aesthetic and we're rebelling against it. YOURS looks good...but be careful. Shiplap has been known to get out of hand.

Your art is, as always, excellent good sir.

Haha! yes...believe it or not I'm actually a big fan of their show, Chip just absolutely cracks me up! The shiplap is something that already existed in our home in other areas of the house prior to us taking ownership so our use of it there was just tieing it to the rest of the room and allowing a space for the TV that wasn't blocking the fireplace or a window as the previous owners had it. The shiplap in our house has probably been there for over 30 years so its definitely not a nod to the current fad, just happens to be back "in style". Ours was all Honey Pine which I detest so we've been painting it all out ever since we moved in back in August.

Designed this little item a few days ago... had a bunch cut out.

It is an all metal zip tie mounting tab that bolts to series 10 80/20 extrusion. The stuff used by alot of rack builders.

Doing this 16x16 behemoth for my game room to go next to my collection binders. Biggest project I'll ever do; It's probably going to be a year or so until it's done

Finished up a coat rack idea last night. 3/4 black pipe, some winch hooks laying around the garage, and used a piece of lumber I saved from my wife’s grandfathers garage in Maryland.

Looks like an ideal rack for all my wood coats, snow blowing coats and overalls, etc etc. 4 inch nails aren't long enough for the number of coats on a 5 foot rack!
