I had a request for a couple cocktail "glasses" so I decided to see if I could do it.

The "glass" and the other half of the log it came from.

Finished my mask design. Fits well, I can wear if for a long time, and the filter is easy to change out.

Now that I’ve got my pattern perfected (for me) its time to make 5 or 6 more.

Just got done with two things out of 304 stainless. Had to have a square bottom in the slot. Been filing for a while.

During the quarantine I took the opportunity to build a dog platform for the back seat of my 2GDCSB. What's neat about it is that the platform hinges at the 60/40 split. That way, in a pinch, I can carry a single person in the back seat without removing the whole platform.

    See the whole build here:

Been busy with school, so I've just been working small. Next up I need to design a tattoo sleeve for a friend who's got some of my work on her already.

Holy chit, I've done a lot already!!
So I purchased a Silhouette Cameo 4 a few weeks ago. I've been wanting one, but my wife showed interest lately, so I jumped on it. (Not with the Cameo o_O) But i built an additional shelf for it's current home. It doesn't match, but it's the only laminate I had.
    2020-04-22 17.24.12.jpg

This was a project my wife was working on. Pallet wood flag. I talked her into letting me do the "Pledge" on it. I also did the stars. Both with the Cameo 4 in vinyl. This is a task I regret. The font she chose was a PITA!!! Definitely a learning stage. You are literally looking at 10-12 hours, after design and the f$cking application!!! (I did advise her the stripes were wrong, she shrugged)

    2020-04-22 17.04.30.jpg

And finally, I did this for my wife's cousin. Learning the software, and hardware. This didn't take too long. 2 layer vinyl decal. The nice thing is, once you design it, shouldn't take long to cut and install. Except thin, tiny, aggravating cursive font!!!

I want a vinyl cutting machine so bad, but I can't decide on one. Supposedly the Cricut maker can cut through pretty thick stuff, but it seems like you might have to purchase more accessories, while the silhouette seems more straight forward. Either way, they're a bit expensive for me; someday, haha. I've been waiting to find a used one that people aren't asking near retail for.
