Holy chit, I've done a lot already!!
Currently Silhouette has a great deal on a bundle https://www.silhouetteamerica.com/mothersday I can't tell you which is better, as I only own this one. There are pros and cons to Silhouette and Cricut, based on all my pre-purchase research. I paid $209 for mine, but have since spent quite a bit on materials, tools and accessories. I am not HALF the artist you are, but if you can find a way, I'm sure you could make your money back quickly.

Oh jeez, there is a good deal on it right now. Ahhh. I've heard better things about Cricut vs the Cameo online but I feel like everything I've read is biased. It would probably be more worth it for me to purchase one of these if I had a working printer.

Worked on a new pen that I delivered to the purchaser today. Had to do a little digging to get this one. . .

The price point on the Cameo is better, so that is a pro. But sometimes, you get what you pay for. Time will tell if that's the case. For what you do, a printer might come in handy. A lot of my drive was decals, and t-shirts. I made another decal today from a jpg off the internet. I was going to work on designing another tonight, but my mom called. My wife's motivation was t-shirts, crafts and scrap booking. Although she has yet to teach herself, watch tutorials, or even attempt to use it

I wan't to produce some art stickers for more affordable merch, but I don't really sell many prints, and I have them listed so cheap I only make a few bucks off of them, so I don't even think pursuing stickers would really be worth it. I would like to do that for people who commission me though, throw in some stickers. But once again, a rarity, and there's actually a few sticker places that produce stickers really affordably. I'm just in a period with my work where it's not worth it to buy anything but it would be really helpful if I did, haha. I would definitely like to make myself tee shirts and decals, but that's more of a luxury. Couldn't sell it; I already sell so many different styles of art it's near impossible to market and confuses people so, that would be relatively unwise, haha.
I think learning how to work the machine is why a lot of people sell them for so much. Most people either use them all the time or pull it out once and get discouraged. Most people selling them online say they've only used it once. I get that though, new software can be a bit intimidating if that's not your thing.

My current work-in-progress is a stowable shower system to use when camping. Also useful for private pooping.

When it is done, it will all fold up into a plastic case hanging on the side of the roof rack.

Here's a teaser of the folding frame.

    previous project.

wanted to try building a"trench lighter" so I took a couple pieces of spent brass, .50 BMG and a 5.56 along with sacrificial bic lighter for the flint, striker and spring and some Zippo wick and cotton batting. and this was created.

Yeah, this one was inspired by the QuickPitch En-Suite shower. I found a YouTube vid of a guy who made one and I took my inspiration from that. He sells plans to make the shower and I ordered a set but they weren't very good. It looked like he made the prototype then created plans from that; not the other way around.

Plus, he had a machine shop at his disposal; I did mine in my basement using a Saber Saw and a Drill Press. It's ain't pretty but it works.

I turned another 20 Skull pen for my personal pen and a Shock Absorber pen for my youngest son's graduation from UT later this month. I'm still looking for a real nice pen design to also turn for him.

A double sink water table play station for the grandkids. One 5, twins 15 months old.

Everything down to the screws and paint were re-used, re-purposed materials. Sinks themselves probably 80 years old.
