Auto high beams.. forgot they even existed until I looked at this thread

other than that, I don’t mind the other features. I get the feeling that a lot of people around here would be the same type of people who would’ve opposed seat belt mandates and DUI laws back in the day.

Driving drunk endangers everybody else on the road. Me not wearing a seatbelt endangers no one else but me and it should be my choice to wear one or not. You don’t have to wear a helmet on a motorcycle so why should I be mandated to wear a seat belt ? If I’m willing to take the chance of flying through the windshield, that’s my business and not the government’s.

If you are no longer in your seat, you have zero chance of controlling the vehicle and it is a menace to other people on the road.

Nevermind the poor sod who has to scrape your remains into a hefty bag.

I would agree with you on this one. Likelihood is I’ll wear a seatbelt anyway unless I’m off road, then I never wear one.

I drove through Montana back when speed limits were "within reasonable limits of the car", but my car was not in the "beyond 75 MPH" range. Now they have hard speed limits in Montana.

I thought I had heard, maybe it was a stupid younger version of me believing I had heard it ... part of the reason they put hard limits was state troopers getting tired of hosing idiots out of their mangled Porsches.

min Massachusetts you are required to wear a helmet on a motorcycle, other states vary though. But either way if they are hit by a Tacoma they won’t survive helmet or not.

I tried the auto high beams once and didn't like them. It isn't that they didn't go between low and high effectively, it is that there was about a 1-2 second delay longer than I could do it manually and I really try to be considerate of other drivers.

I unplugged that stupid wireless charging pad that never works.

I also left that light above the wireless charging pad area unplugged. That was the most distracting, annoying, obnoxious light in the cab. I could always see it reflecting in my rear window and it always was bugging me out of the corner of my eye.

Radar cruise control is the best thing ever. I use it on the highway all the time as long as I'm not driving in heavy traffic.

The wireless charging pad does work when your phone isn’t inside a case but it’s in the case it’s useless so that’s a good idea to employer. I just don’t even turn it on anymore.
