I felt the same way about the Parking Assist switch, so I just stuck a car air freshener over it.

The MAIN SCREEN at night and in the fog. Ruins night vision and apparently no brightness settings. Would love a kludge potentiometer fix but figure its a printed circuit connection?
Needed dealer to show me where to find the setting.

What year is your truck? My 2014 with Entune+ has manually selectable Day/Night mode overide, and manually adjustable brightness level for Night Mode. I believe when in Day mode, (Headlights off) it is hard set to full brightness.

i turned off BSM because i dinged the bumper “enough” with a trailer to misalign the sensor—that warning was annoying enough to pull over and figure out all the acronym buttons real quick. the ding popped itself out later that day, and i learned how to not utterly suck at backing up a trailer

i do love the radar assisted cruise control, however. 22 mpg while trailering 2 street bikes!

When dimmed fully, it’s still too bright at night

After many years of modding and hot-rodding vehicles, I have learned to leave well enough alone.
If you have to mod your woman to suit you... you made the wrong choice.
    Same for the truck.
    YMMV.

LDA saved me one time when I started to doze off on a long drive so I keep it on when I have to power through a few hours of highway in the darkness if I am getting tired.

I ripped out the little speaker for the seatbelts and blinker. Which is also responsible for beeping when I open the door before turning off the truck. (I tried to just remove the actual speaker part, but it came unsoldered anyways so I said screw it lol. If I ever need to I’ll just solder it back on)

I turned off the SOS button the day I bought it. I have the other sensors set to the lowest-possible sensitivity. I don't need a warning beeper to tell me when to brake.

I find the lane proximity nanny to be annoying.
The other nanny that is annoying is the automatic braking in Cruise Control.

In my 2020 AC 4 banger I'd go down a grade in cruze control set at 50. As I got near the bottom it would slow down to 47 or so & as I hit the bottom it would give me whiplash bad & catch up to speed like a V8. So I learned to apply pressure to accelerator pedal. Not sure the 23 does it cause I've "live & learn" that hurts... Yes I've been told about holding in on the button. But I forget every time I use it

Mine's a TRD OR with a manual which is why I bought it. Little did I know it had the tech package with park sensors and whatever else. Same... I don't use almost all of these features. I've given the auto high beam multiple chances but it just blinds people off and on randomly. What I do like though is that all of these features have a toggle button. Everything is off all the time unless you go out of your way to turn them on. ...except traction control and stability control however you can turn them off entirely when at a complete stop which is a luxury when you live where winter lasts more than half the year :burnrubber: SNOW DRIFTIN. Carrista is a nice product to turn off a lot of annoying dings.

...Also I crunched the passenger rear bumper on a rock so... there goes half of my useless backup sensors anyways lol

Also I've found the wireless charger just makes my phone really hot more than it charges it

    Having fun trolling?

The OTT is a minor change, akin to a rubber bed mat, or the CURT front receiver I installed.
These pale compared to the super chargers, lift kits, gearing and wiring changes that are so frequent here.
