I haven't needed it until today. I bought an air mattress pump that works super slick in there. Very fast compared to the battery powered one.

And I used it to power my dremel tool to touch up a couple small spots on my bed platform.

I liked being able to plug in right there.

Thinking of what else I could use it for......

I use it to charge my electric fish cleaning knife that always seems to be dead. I also have a thermoelectric cooler that I plan to plug into it.

Was thinking about the thermoelectric cooler. How do you like it? What do you have?

I went on a short road trip with some buddies and nobody had an iPhone car charger but we did have an extension cord and A/C charger. Problem solved.

My wife and I went out to one of her commercial property's on the interstate. It had sold, so I used a recp. saw to cut down the signs 4x4s post and a 7" circular saw to chop the 4'x8' bill board up :) . Don't get me wrong......Not a S load of power  it was set in some deep azzzz concrete.

Used it to tap into so I could add an outlet in the truck for the passengers.

    That just made me lol.

I never used it for anything so far...maybe to charge a phone or run a small light for the bed tent at some point?

I use mine to keep my previously always dead when I needed it monitor charged. Little handheld lcd screen I use to setup and aim security cameras.

Has anyone used the inverter to charge cordless tool batteries? I let the magic smoke out of a makita charger with another power inverter. Apparently they blow up when connected to modified sine wave inverters. As a result I am hesitant to plug one of my Milwaukee ones into the truck.

Should be fine and about the only thing it's really good for. Most battery chargers for drills and such are only going to take 200 watts or less.

On a side note guys if you question whether something will be ok to plug in or not, remember: volts x amps = watts

I work for a forestry machine manufacturer, so we've used it to charge laptops when out in the middle of the bush in the middle of no where.

I've also used it for a mini fridge when we go fishing, just set up a couple chairs in the bed and fish out of the truck.

I have attempted to use it for a welder knowing it wouldn't work but figured I'd give it a try anyways... It didn't work.

I've been meaning to do this, but haven't yet. I was thinking about doing the double outlet though.

I've used it for a lot of stuff:

    1. A drop light to go into my snowmobile trailer because the light in my trailer sucks and I had to change my reed valves

    2. I use it all the time to power my Bose Sounddock

    3. I charged my vaporizer with it since I don't have a car adapter and I need my medicines...:rasta:

    4. Buddy has used it to pump up a camping air mattress

    5. The best- I went camping and it was a rainy mess, but I can't abide camping without a campfire. It had been raining for days, but I had a box fan in the truck and an extension cord, so I used the fan as a power bellows and got that fire roaring in a deluge
