    nothing cool
I was excited about the bed outlet when i bought my truck. But after 2 years i still have never used it. My buddy used his to charge his batteries for his Rigid Drill and Driver combo when he was painting and working on houses. I thought that was kinda cool.

Well... I was concerned about having coffee for this weekends fishing trip. Don't have one of those you put on the fire but I did have this little 5 cup job. It says 650 watts, I tried it and it worked fine. I don't know, what do you guys think? Shouldn't hurt any thing I don't guess. I would think it just wouldn't run it if it were too much. (Kick a relay/breaker) Also that's the first thing I've ever plugged in to it, other than battery chargers. I was setting in the cab doors closed and could hear a faint humming in the cab, the coffee pot was on the tail gate. It went away after unplugging the coffee pot. Is that normal or was I pushing it? Yeah I know it says 400 watts! Guys gotta have coffee ya know!

I've used it to power an electric weed trimmer and to keep my cordless impact/drill batteries charged on job sites.

I have a small Colemen, it's about a 6 pack size. My brother bought it new, after 2-3 uses the switch melted. He contacted Coleman and they sent him a new one of a different model, they didn't want the old one back. I fixed the switch and it quickly melted again. I then retrofitted a better switch and it has worked fine ever since. Not something that I use often, but its nice to have.

Lol, mine isn't for sale! But I have seen a time that I would have paid way too much for a cup!

Thanks, love my Yeti. It stays in the bed, goes every where I go.

While camping, I've run a power strip to charge a slew of phones as the go-to spot.

I've run a 12 cup house coffee maker, it took 4 resets on the dash inverter switch to get the whole pot brewed but gotta have coffee for camping with the fellas.

I've also run a Porter Cable power planer which did ok. I was trimming a frame for a buddy's store sign.

Went out shooting this weekend and powered a box fan to cool off during lunch. Central Texas heat in August is no joke.

Tried a shop vac. It ran kinda weird sounding for a few minutes then shut off.
Other than that I used a boxfan while away from normal 120.

One day I'm going to install a real inverter. I might tap in to wiring and put an incab outlet.

I tried to use the house vaccum but it draws too much power and trips the circut. works for drills and smaller tools though.
