What i did in my Taco today

Maybe run a tie strap under the bumper then hook it to top next to the tail gate and the use a come along to pull it back into place, just pull in the opposite direction from first time.

 

It's not a good idea to tell my dad what to do when he is still "frustrated" with me. i'm fairly sure he wants to get a new bumper from toyota, i know its really expensive, but i'm not paying so i'm not saying anything

You live and you learn. We've all done some pretty stupid shit at one point or another. Lord knows I did! A '92 Toyota (wasn't called Tacoma yet) 4-banger was my first vehicle when I was 16 - I kept trying to treat it like a 4 wheel drive........

 

Got the bumper yesterday,

 

Good as new. Those bumpers are made of tinfoil anyway. After I was rearended by a drunk driver Sept '07 (only had the truck exactly 1 month), it went straight to the body shop. When I picked it up after the repairs were done, the shop manager held the bumper vertically on the ground and bent it in half. They are seriously the weakest bumpers I've ever seen.

 

very nice bumper are you going to go hit the trails again??

 

Probably not until about 100,000, i may like drive on one for a little bit but now like what i was doing, and if there is a good mud hole that i can find that i know will not mess it up i'll do that but what i was doing its going to be a while

 

My suggestion - quit being a pu55y!!

 

If i wreck it again or any other vehicle it sits in the Garage
