Hi, I have been looking for discount insurance for military families for my new 2014 Toyota Tacoma Access Cab V6 4WD. I've been looking online and many people recommend USAA or GEICO. http://autovscarinsurance.com/best-military-car-insurance-for-veterans/. Are their reputations good for paying claims? Also, which company is cheaper on average and how much should I expect to pay? If it helps I live in Florida and I have fair credit. Also, what insurance provider are you using for your Tacoma? Any advice given is well appreciated.

I use Esurance currently but they keep raising my rates on me for no reason (no accidents, tickets, etc.). Getting married later this year and can't wait to get on my fiance's insurance, she has USAA and has nothing but great things to say about them. Already got a quote from them for the same price as what I pay now for my truck, but for both our vehicles and better coverage. I'd go with them if you can.

I've heard good things about Geico from others on here but my brother works for them as an adjuster, and even with his family discount they were higher than most other places I looked at. Insurance companies aren't kind to SoCal drivers for the most part.

    Welcome!

USAA is awesome if you ever have to file a claim. I have dealt with them a few times, and it was extremely easy and quick.
