I'm also in insurance & have a bunch of companies, I don't keep like 20 something, just like 10 or so of the best. I also have USAA & they're prices can always be beat. State Farm can be beat in some areas & demographics, not all though. The last 3 years I've shopped mine I've gone Geico, Kemper and now Progressive. You just gotta shop, I don't expect to be with Progressive next year, consistency is not their game.

I had State Farm for 30 years, and after I retired they were still charging me a fortune with no accidents or tickets, went too Geico and got the very same coverage for HALF the monthly cost of State Farm.

    They're everywhere,
    https://www.trustedchoice.com/agent/pa/

Scroll down to the nearest town/county. I am licensed in over 50 states but someone more local who knows your laws, etc. can likely help you better

Both are Stock - built correct from the start.

It gets you to remember. That’s what it’s about.

I tried that. No bueno. A recommended agent couldn't touch the online quotes that I was getting.

I’ve had USAA for like 30 years. Had a couple not my fault claims. Always great service, no problems.

No good agent will be in until Monday, it's a M-F job. Getting weekend workers is going to lessen the quality of service. I would get a Geico price, when they're on, they're on, that's Warren B's company.

I'm not talking about today. LoL!

This was in the past. It took days to get a firm apples to apples quote and it was hundreds higher.

Spot on, a close friend owns an insurance company and advised me similarly- though I stuck with USAA (he likes Auto Owners) for now. My son recently bought a one owner 2002 4X4 Tacoma from a good friend...I could sell it in my area for good bit, but the rate (on an 18YO boy) did not make financial sense to carry full coverage, as I was told even though I could sell the truck for a good number (warn winch, ARB Bumper, spotless truck) - it is still a 2002 vehicle. I carry liability, comp (for deer, hail, etc) on his truck. My only difference is I was advised to carry a separate 2M umbrella policy - especially since I have 3 teens driving (each with a SUV/truck). If I remember correctly - the umbrella is not very expensive (maybe cheaper than raising the coverage on individual auto policies). I have USAA (house and car) -6 cars insured (3 new.newer and full coverage). My wife drives a 70K High Top and hit a deer - caused about 7K in damage, USAA was terrific - very quick and hassle free.

Makes me remember who not to support due to the stupid and most infantile TV commercials and makes cable viewing more attractive.

Erie insurance since 1977 and my policy states something like "Will not be sur-charged for future accident's" . You get what you pay for...

I deal directly with the home office of my insurance company. Insuring an older car, make sure you get it valued by your company.
