Apple brand, or third party.. Looking for a few options of making my rig a bit more "mobile office" friendly. Iv seen options that attach between the two center AC vents. Im planning on a stereo/head unit upgrade soon as well so this my go together.
What do you have that works good. Pics... Experiences?

Edit: Strange. The embedded pictures show up when I edit, but not when I view the page. I'll attach the pictures to the post.

I tried a few options over the years. I did a vent mount most of the time, but it was a little floppy especially with larger phones. I eventually wound up with the Proclip that goes between the vents. It is very sturdy and doesn't move around. https://www.proclipusa.com/product/852253-proclip-center-mount

I decided to mate that to a Craigsdocks holder. They are high quality mounts made in low volumes. http://www.craigsdocks.com/ Besides the great quality, I like that the mount holds the USB connector in the mount so when you slide your phone in, the USB plug connects to your phone..... no plugging and unplugging a charging cable. I ran my USB cable up through my left center vent so the cable is out of the way and stealthy.

I normally run it in landscape mode. [IMG]

Keeo in mind that if your upgrading your head unit you can get something that runs Android auto or the apple equivalent. At that point you really don't need the phone to be visible. Occasionally if I'm using gps navigation from the phone I will need to put it on the dash if I'm in the city or there is overcast. Otherwise my phone stays in the center console.
