tachs are overrated. After driving a 5 speed sonoma with no tach for a year I never even look at it.

ive had 2 automatics...both with tachs, yet there are people here with manuals with no tachs lol. i think they are very helpful, especially when you are trying to drive smart and save gas.

    1. Shitty leaf springs
    2. Never have been satisfied with my truck's braking even through multiple bleedings.
    3. Cup holders too large..... I spill every drink i have almost. Haha.

Other than that it is the best truck I have ever owned. The harder I drive it the better it gets. Very reliable truck to say the least.

    • Clock placement
    • Automatic shifter jumps all over the place
    • Seats (not the most comfortable and wish they would slide back further)
    • Seat belts not retracting
    • Pop-out side window hinges on Xtra cab break and easy to force open
    • Rear axle wrap w/ stock suspension
    • No towing package (have to add on a receiver hitch and wire harness)
    • No bed light
    • Headlights turn off automatically only if opening the door (if you shut off the truck but are still in it, the lights stay on forever unless manually turned off or the door is opened)
    • Not a big deal but wish there was a shifter indicator on the dash for the automatic. Just a good reminder that is the line of sight vs next to the shifter.
    • hook to hang a clothes hanger - why not put it on the back wall of the truck vs the side? The Xtra cab isn't deep enough to hang anything without it ending up next to the person sitting in the seat.
Still like it though. : )

off set rims and tires, everything else is original.
I have manual with no tach. I have an aftermarket tach hooked up but it goes total haywire so I gotta listen to the motor....kinda sucks

The seats are comfortable enough, but there's no height adjustments for short SOBs like me.

My dash makes a vibrating noise when going over bumps or when the engine is at just the right RPM. Other than that I love my '02.

    mine too.

At first all the vibes and rattles bothered me...but I just settled with the fact that its a truck....and they dont bother me anymore.

Only other things I could complain about are the weak leaf springs and the terrible 60/40 bench seat.

The cupholders above the a/c controls, seatbelts that don't retract, oil filter placement and no intermittent wipers.
