    seats no good
speedo has delay at take off
but all this is jus small things that are overshadowed by everything else that is great!

I love my 99 prerunner, but I really wish they made suicide doors for the extended cab like they do for the second gen. The horn is so hi pitched it embarrasing and they original owner had the seats and door panels redone in leather. Leather may look nice but its not for a truck that sees the dirt every once and a while.

I LOVE the cup holders.. They hold any kind of drink I put in there and they don't interfere with my right leg like the later ones do.

I like the clock.. It reminds me that this is a Tacoma.

I would be annoyed if my seat belt actually DID retract, then I wouldn't know that I was driving a Tacoma.

Oil filter is nice. Try a f-ing Nissan 4 banger and see where that gets you...

I love paying through the nose for common parts because again, if it were cheap it wouldn't be a Tacoma..

I love knowing at any moment, I could sell it for more than I paid for it..

I love my SR5 seats ( limited started in 1998)

    And I love my sunroof..

and I love my Flowmaster 50 SUv muffler.. Nice growl... Grrrrrrr..

I love the earlier style shifter with the transfer case over to the right.. lots of knee room

I love my SR5 only power mirrors..

Wait.... what was the OP about again?

the fact the seat belt gets stuck outside the damn door.. and the non working cup holders. i cant say how many times i've gone through the drive thru and spill the drink before i get home because of the the non working cupholders in the truck.

x2 on the clock position, that's my #1 complaint. I'm surprised nobody brought up the lack of storage and/or speaker room. I had a standard cab Toy and managed to fit 2 10s behind the seat, bought a '92 ExtCab and just used the whole backseat as a space for two 12s, (nobody could actually sit in the back seat anyways b/c I'm 6'3" and have to have the drivers seat all the way back).
I bought my '01 DoubleCab thinking I just gained a lot of extra room, but there is nowhere to put subs in this one... I've got a full backseat, so I can't throw a big speaker box back there b/c people can actually use those seats and can sit there comfortably.
