Damn, squeaky clutch! Especially two different squeaks! Who the hell makes a pedal bushing out of a tiny piece of plastic? This pisses me off because I think it was a willfully cheap design, not just a stupid one.

They built a helluva truck but they didn't build them for us big whiteboys that's for certain. My only complaint is that damn driver seat. After 50 miles I'm pulling my wallet out of my back pocket. After 75 miles I'm stuffing the back pillow between my right leg and the console. After 100 miles I'm sticking my 4-cell maglight under my right asscheek to null the onsetting sciatica and Rosie's fit to be tied at this point. but I LOVE my truck:(

That damn dash rattle!! It always seems to get worse when I have someone else in the truck with me and then I have to hear them make comments like "is your truck going to fall apart?" or "your truck is really noisy". Yeah thanks, I didn't F-ing notice!!

I've thought about doing this too. Good to hear that it fixed the issue :)

There's lots of methods that people have came up with to fix or temporarily fix the issue, some methods that even dealers came up with, like stuffing rubber gloves or rags.

Here's the proper way to fix it (supposedly)

Where do you put them exactly, literally between the windshield & the dash? Are they visible? I've been meaning to fix mine, probably not up for doing all that work listed in the TSB, but I don't want anything visible from the top of the dash.

fuel filter location on the 3RZ. WTF were they smoking that day??.

I slotted that bracket so I could just slide it off loosened bolts,,without removing said bolts, and dropping/loosing them into the black hole of skidplate doom.

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
I really love just about everything about my truck. The seat belt not retracting is kind of annoying but I'm going to fix that.

I only other thing i could of is the cup holders it's like there made for a BIG GULP the the little foam things cant hold up my coffee mug I'm going to be replacing them soon.

I dont like my cup holders because when they're out you cant adjust the climate. Also the oil filter is a pain to get to

I don't like the "axel wrap" however I clamped it in front of the axle and it's okay now. Next thing would be the dash rattle (occasionally) might be temperature related, thinking of cutting a rubber ball in half and jamming it between the glass and the dash (been doing that since the 70's on my old Fords). Thing is I need the proper size and color of rubber ball, don't want to trash it out as it looks pretty darn good for a 99 truck.

On my 2000 the seats are too high up for me, I just get a good view of the sun visor. The turning radius has made me way too good at 3-point turns. I don't even know if 1st gens came with power mirrors, but mine doesn't have them and it makes me miserable.
